The Day after Christmas

It is a quiet here, the parties are over with - now comes the clean up. The fireworks are over with - now peace and quiet. The Christmas presents have been given and exchanged now our pockets are empty. But there is nothing like an old fashion Filipino Christmas. Ah yes, Christmas festival and celebration were held at our new home’s unfinished first floor. Gathering around the large dinner table thirty or so ate heartily. Afterwards everyone gathered near the rented Karaoke Machine to dance and sing. My tired wife Beng awoke early this morning to begin cleaning up.
