“DALLAS – About 500 people crowded Saturday into the plaza where John F. Kennedy was shot 45 years ago, all agreeing it was right to remember a pivotal moment in American history.” Yes I remember that fatal autumn day went a sniper’s bullet killed our president. So long ago yet the memory remains in my heart. It seemed if the clock stopped throughout America. It was a sad day to witness and to hear on the radio at work, “The president to dead.” A tear still falls from my eye whenever I think of that time. Mr. President wherever you are may you rest in peace. Papa Chuck
