I think it’s sad that many people don’t read
I recently read that 80 percent of U.S. families did not buy or read a book last year. As an avid reader it sort of put me to shame since I’ve not been reading that much lately. So I decided to do something about it. Now I’m not as fast as I use to be and sometimes I fall asleep during my readings. But a few weeks ago I started re-reading “The Winds of War,” by Herman Wouk. This is my fifth or sixth time I’ve read this particular novel, and I still enjoy his work as I did the first time so many years ago. It definitely beats out cable TV. And sometimes some rewarding information has come to me from a reading particular story.
