A nice weekend

What a nice weekend we had! On Saturday afternoon we transferred the house we sold to the new owners – which mean we’ve closed that door behind us and have started a new chapter in life. I am so very relaxed in our spacious home although the only bad since of my health won’t permit it I’m not able climb up or down the stairs. Or if my health on a particular day will permit it I then can up and down with someone with strong hands. But whose complaining it could be worse I could be living in shanty here or living in a nursing home… Sometimes when I’m feeling down and I mention and bring up the words “nursing home” to my wife, Beng blows her top and says something like, “you’re nursing home is here at our home!!” Without pause I quickly change the subject. Aren’t I lucky. One Sunday we had old friends drop by for a visit it was a delight to see them since very nice middle couple since it had been awhile last seeing them. Soon, I'll drop the 2008 personal challenges and goals and then they will quickly become a distant memory as my focus turns to the present and future.
