A Bull in a China Closet

Life is full of surprises don’t you think? Before moving into our new “Big House” I never gave it a thought about our water service. But to my astonishment I found on our first night living in our new home that the city water service is turned off from around 11:00 pm until around five the following morning. On our very first night here about 2 am after a call of nature as I reached to flush there was no flush, no water… now that’s a big surprise. On the other hand we are getting a nice gentle breeze most of time; which means we’re not running the air conditioners as we were in the small house. The other day I ask my wife Beng if she missed our smaller house and she replied slowly that she did. Why? Her answer came back to me was because it was our first house. I had to scratch my head since she had a good point. Me, I have admit I really don’t miss the place since I always felt like “a bull in a china closet.”
